This is a senior client-facing leadership role focused on driving the successful delivery and commercial alignment of complex SAP transformation programs. The Engagement Director acts as a strategic bridge between delivery, sales, and client stakeholders across multiple enterprise accounts. You will oversee end-to-end engagement health, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are well defined and consistently met. The role requires close collaboration with solution architects, project managers, and sales teams to shape proposals and support RFP responses. You will also play a key role in escalation management, customer satisfaction, and long-term relationship building. This position operates in a fast-paced consulting environment supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives across industries.
- Lead engagement oversight for multiple enterprise SAP projects, ensuring successful delivery alignment across scope, schedule, and budget while supporting both pre-sales and delivery phases.
- Participate actively in RFP development, solution shaping, and estimation activities in collaboration with sales, delivery leadership, and technical teams.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex client or project issues, ensuring rapid resolution and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with Account Executives and delivery teams to strengthen client relationships, manage expectations, and support ongoing account growth.
- Coordinate resource planning with project management offices, solution architects, and competency leads to ensure optimal staffing for upcoming initiatives.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to project teams while reinforcing organizational values and delivery excellence.
- Contribute to steering committees and executive client meetings to ensure governance and project success.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP project management or consulting, with strong exposure to large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Proven track record of delivering at least three full lifecycle SAP implementations across complex environments.
- 5+ years of client management experience in consulting, delivery, or engagement leadership roles.
- Hands-on functional experience in at least one SAP module, with strong understanding of end-to-end ERP processes.
- Experience in retail and digital manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP Public Cloud methodology and SAP Cloud ALM is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate at executive level.
- Degree required; MBA and PMP certification considered a plus.
