UTILITY TECH in JONESBORO, Arkansas at Saint Bernards Medical Center

Must be able to read, write and do simple arithmetic, ability to follow oral and written instructions and work with limited supervision. Mechanical aptitude helpful.

Previous experience helpful. An experienced worker will need three to five days of instructions and at least 30 days on-the-job training under the direction of the Assistant Manager to perform satisfactorily.

General hospital environment. Normal/corrected eyesight. Hearing within normal range. Exposure to chemical, electrical, and mechanical hazards. Operates floor machines – battery operated and electric, buffers, scrubbers, and wet vacuums and extractors. Continuous walking and standing. Lifting up to 75 lbs. Carrying up to 40lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 75lbs.
