Job Description
National Trade Supply is currently seeking an injection mold operator for our Manufacturing division, located in Greenwood, Indiana. Injection mold operators are responsible for running and monitoring machines that produce fridge filters. The individual who fills this role will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday, 6:00AM to 4:30PM and will eventually transition over to Tuesday - Friday, 6:00AM to 4:30PM schedule once training is complete.

Responsibilities:
- 2+ years of injection molding experience in a fast-paced, diverse molding and assembly facility.
- Resolve issues affecting efficiency including material outages, machine downtime, and operator performance and scheduling.
- Make work assignments to accomplish the schedule and to achieve maximum labor efficiency.
- Notify appropriate management team members of issues and problems that will affect the operation.
- Monitor WIP inventory to ensure proper levels.
- Ensure that quality standards are met on a department wide basis.
- Ensure that production reporting is done accurately for the department.

Required:
- High School Diploma, GED, and equivalent experience
- Basic measuring & math Skills
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Desire to participate in continuous improvement activities and on-the-job training to enhance skills
- Ability to visually identify quality discrepancies
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience troubleshooting injection molding equipment
- Average oral and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Physical Demands:
- The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects.
- Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
- Work area is located indoors within a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
- The work area is not climate controlled so employees may be exposed to hot, cold, and/or humid climates depending on the time of year.
- The area has elevated noise levels, but not which exceed an 85 dBA 8-hour TWA.
- Employees may be exposed to environments with dust or other airborne particles in the air.
