Job Details
- Performs service and installation of commercial doors and door hardware, electronic locking devices, auto-pedestrian doors, automatic vehicle gate operators, and other various security/life safety systems.
- Aligns, adjusts, repairs, maintains and calibrates various types of door hardware and gate equipment according to manufacturer and departmental specifications.
- Evaluates, diagnoses, troubleshoots systems and performs repairs as necessary
- Assists in the development of training programs for other employees.
- Performs upgrades and additions to system to increase functionality, usability, and reliability
- Assists with security camera installations, including mounting, aiming, and basic device setup.
- Assists with Cabling Technicians; pulls, labels, terminates, and tests low-voltage cabling (e.g., access control, camera, and related devices) per drawings and specifications.
- Performs a variety of basic skilled mechanical, locksmith, electrical, and electronic work.
- Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.
- Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety check.
- Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in door access
- 18+ years old
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Team worker willing to do what it takes to get the job done
- Ability to lift 50- 100+ lbs.
- Valid driver's license & Clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication

The pay range for this role is:
26 - 35 USD per hour(Salt Lake)
