Job Description

This role is a Think Company staffing opportunity supporting complex cloud and DevOps initiatives for one of our enterprise clients.
You’ll be fully embedded with one of our strategic client partners, collaborating daily with their stakeholders, working within their processes and structures, and representing Think Company through strong delivery, communication, and consulting acumen.
In this role, you’ll lead projects from planning through delivery, partnering across technical teams and stakeholders to bring clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes. This is a strong fit for someone who combines hands-on project leadership with a consultative, customer-first mindset.

  • Employment type: Contract (6 months, with potential for full-time conversion)

  • Compensation: $50–$75/hr

What You’ll Do
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud and DevOps projects, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and outcomes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into clear project plans and execution strategies
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and priorities across multiple stakeholders and workstreams
  • Facilitate project rituals (e.g., sprint planning, standups, stakeholder updates) to maintain momentum and transparency
  • Guide issue resolution and escalation management related to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders by providing clear communication, insights, and recommendations
  • Ensure project deliverables create measurable business value and align with broader strategic goals

What You Bring
  • Experience leading IT or digital projects involving cloud infrastructure or DevOps environments
  • Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
  • Ability to manage complex projects across distributed teams using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall approaches
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-moving environments
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project
  • A consultative mindset—you connect technical delivery to business outcomes
  • A strong customer-first approach, with the ability to build trust, align stakeholders, and drive successful delivery outcomes

Nice-to-Haves
  • Familiarity with cloud migrations, automation, or DevOps practices
  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Azure Fundamentals
  • Experience in consulting, agency, or client-facing environments
