This role sits at the intersection of advanced forensic investigation, litigation support, and emerging data technologies. You will lead complex digital forensic engagements involving the identification, preservation, and analysis of electronically stored information across diverse environments such as endpoints, mobile devices, cloud platforms, and enterprise networks. The position requires a strong blend of technical depth and client-facing communication, as you will translate complex findings into clear, defensible reports and expert testimony. You will also contribute to shaping forensic methodologies, improving workflows, and supporting the development of next-generation investigative tools. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced consulting environment, you will partner with legal teams, enterprises, and internal specialists to support high-stakes investigations. This is a highly impactful role where precision, integrity, and analytical rigor are essential.

Accountabilities:
  • Perform forensically sound onsite and remote collections of electronically stored information (ESI) from a wide range of sources including computers, mobile devices, servers, cloud environments, and external storage media.
  • Conduct advanced forensic analysis of digital evidence to support litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.
  • Prepare detailed forensic reports, expert declarations, and technical documentation suitable for legal and client use.
  • Provide expert witness testimony in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings when required.
  • Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to define project scope, identify data sources, plan collections, and manage investigative workflows.
  • Track project progress, provide status updates, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of forensic outputs.
  • Assist in scoping new engagements, developing timelines, cost estimates, and recommending appropriate forensic methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of forensic tools, workflows, and services related to evolving data sources and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate time tracking, billing entries, and documentation in accordance with project and organizational standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital forensics consulting or related client-facing forensic roles.
  • Strong expertise in forensic data collection, preservation, and chain of custody procedures.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android environments.
  • Proficiency with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite suite (UFED, Physical Analyzer), Axiom, GrayKey/Verakey, or similar platforms.
  • Experience providing expert testimony in legal proceedings, depositions, or declarations.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical findings in clear, non-technical language for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and documentation standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining accuracy and composure.
  • Experience in client-facing project scoping, workflow design, and forensic investigation planning.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, EnCE, CFCE, CCE, MCFE, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
  • Programming, scripting, Linux/UNIX, or database experience is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary range of 113,048 to 135,000 USD.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
  • Life insurance, disability coverage, and additional wellness benefits.
  • Generous flexible paid time off and paid volunteer days.
  • Eligibility for annual bonus or incentive programs.
  • Hybrid work flexibility with occasional travel (approximately 10–30%).
  • Exposure to high-profile, complex forensic investigations and litigation support cases.
  • Professional development opportunities in advanced digital forensics tools and methodologies.
