The Yard Worker is responsible for ensuring supplies and small equipment are delivered to the jobsites in a safe and timely manner. The Yard Worker will work closely with the Yard Coordinator on the delivery/pick up of tools and/or consumables. Regular communication with appropriate Adena personnel to reduce duplicate traffic patterns with equipment transport.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

1. Deliver in stock supplies to the jobsites
2. Pick up supplies from vendors and deliver to the jobsites / shop
3. Responsible for checking tools and inventory in and out based on field request
4. Maintain overall shop and yard appearance, organization and cleanliness
5. Adheres to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment
6. Assist Yard Coordinator as needed
7. Performs other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Relevant work experience and training that demonstrates the desired skills needed to perform the role
3. Mechanical experience is preferred
4. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; Class A CDL is a plus
5. Must have experience pulling trailers
6. Working knowledge of methods, materials and tools
7. Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
8. Operate equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
9. Desire to make a positive contribution each day
10. Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
11. Perform work in a variety of outdoor conditions as well as contending with dirt and dust
12. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
13. Ability to work in a team environment
