About This Position
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery such as CNC mills, lathe, grind, honing, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems in an industrial establishment. Highly specialized knowledge in complex fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Hydraulics etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Perform preventative maintenance programs, utilizing a facility inspection program to plan for repairs, renovations, and future development.
Able to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment: CNC machines, grind, honing, equipment
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Should be able to perform majority of repairs as described below:
-Calibrate levels, set levels on the machine, read moving levels, check square, test bar, and all geometry in the blue book.
-Reset the machine’s home position and perform ATC alignment, Spindle Orientation, and ATC Recovery.
-Understand electrical layout of the machine, hardware (E-Box, OP-Box, NC unit, power, and control line) and the software (how Ladder, timer, counter, keep Relay, and data table are used).
-Able to use Electrical Schematics. Check the status of the electric devices (Sensors, Relays, Switches, and Solenoid Valves) and perform a sample alarm diagnosis.

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus.
Must be able to follow both oral and written instructions concisely and accurately. Being able to accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications is preferable. Also preferable is being able to use manufacturing measuring instruments.
Must have excellent follow-through and communication skills (verbal and written). Average level of accuracy and detail orientation. Average interpersonal skills.
Able to diagnose production equipment and machinery problems and make repairs quickly.
Preferred experience: Thorough knowledge of all CNC machinery and equipment.
Hourly rate: $21.00 - $30.00
