This role offers the opportunity to lead the strategy and execution of site reliability and platform resilience for a fast-growing SaaS environment. You will own the prioritization of teams responsible for uptime, incident prevention, and release confidence, translating complex technical data into actionable strategies for leadership and cross-functional partners. The position combines technical expertise with product management, requiring collaboration with engineering, DevOps, SRE, and database reliability teams. Ideal candidates are analytical, technically strong, and able to balance operational priorities with long-term platform improvements. This role offers significant impact on platform stability, customer satisfaction, and engineering velocity.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the strategy and execution for platform reliability, coordinating DevOps, SRE, and DBRE teams under a unified approach
  • Conduct risk assessments, monitor system health, and prioritize high-impact reliability initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime
  • Define, track, and report key reliability metrics (uptime, MTTR, incident frequency) to leadership and product teams
  • Manage incident communication, including updates to status pages and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams to align reliability efforts with business and customer needs
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain observability and infrastructure tooling to scale platform reliability
  • Develop documentation, runbooks, and operational standards to enable cross-team ownership of reliability

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or reliability-focused product/program management in SaaS
  • Strong technical background in software engineering, comfortable reviewing code and architectural decisions
  • Expertise in site reliability principles, cloud infrastructure, database reliability, container orchestration, and modern DevOps practices
  • Analytical skills to prioritize reliability initiatives using monitoring platforms, analytics, and incident data
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical insights to leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles, release protocols, and incident response processes
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
