Role Summary

Kings River Packing is looking for a Dispatcher under the supervision of the Director of Logistics. This role is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, and dispatching regular and special routes to ensure transportation runs efficiently and accurately. The Dispatcher must handle continually changing work requests with professionalism and efficiency while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Shift Schedule:

· Hours: 3:30PM – 12:00AM (2nd Shift)

· Days: Monday – Friday including rotating Saturdays

What you'll do

· Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of trucks between multiple warehouses.

· Track and monitor transfer truck routes and ensure on-time pick-ups and deliveries.

· Communicate with drivers and warehouses to provide updates and resolve any issues.

· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dispatching activities.

· Collaborate with other team members to optimize operational efficiency.

· Track and traces shipments from pick-through delivery to ensure accurate up to date shipments.

· Handles dispatch with contractors, drivers and carriers.

· Supports all logistics operation and support services, including dispatching, paperwork completion and system entry and accuracy.

· Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

Requirements:

· High School diploma is required.

· Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

· Proficient computer skills with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word).

· Experience working with Famous software.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with both external and internal contacts.

· Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and peers.

· Must be dependable and self-motivated and ability to take direction.

· Strong organizational skills to handle/prioritize multiple tasks.

· Team-oriented, service-focused attitude.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Physical Demands & Abilities

· Ability to sit for extended periods of time, working from a computer, talking on the phone.

· Onsite, able to work overtime hours and work rotating Saturdays. Flexibility as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

· $25.00 - $30.00/hour, based on experience
