Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Cath Lab Nurse to assist cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care in the catheterization laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures
- Handle sterile instruments, medications, and equipment in the Cath Lab
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab or Cardiology nursing
- Knowledge of cardiac procedures, equipment, and monitoring
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in critical care situations
Preferred:
- Certification in Cardiac Care Nursing or Cath Lab Nursing
- Experience with interventional cardiology procedures
