Crushing & Screening Support Specialist at Dobbs Equipment – Lutz, Florida
About This Position
Summary of Primary Functions
This Kleemann Support specialist position is responsible for the Kleemann equipment set up and customer support in Central and South Florida. The Support specialist will ensure a professional and highly productive experience for each customer. This role daily works directly with the Kleemann sales manager about all aspects of the equipment. This role is also responsible for ensuring that the after-sale product support needs of our customers are met. This position may require more than 50% travel within the territory and occasional travel outside of territory for training. This job description does not include a complete listing of all the duties and functions of the position. Management reserves the right to assign other duties or projects, as necessary.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: May include some or all the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Parts and service sales to promote the Kleemann product line in assigned territory
- Understand the Kleemann machine job site applications. And the components of the machines including the correct screens for each Kleemann model.
- Provide on-site set-ups and tear-downs for Kleemann demonstrations, rentals, and sale start-ups. Train the customer operators on site. Machine inspections and technical support.
- Sell maintenance agreements and replacement parts to the customers.
- Maintain a contact management type database and call log for designated territory
- Provide status report to sales manager as to achievement of goals and objective
- Attend training and sales meetings as required
- Ensure customer satisfaction. Work with the DOBBS team to know the customer’s expectations both today and the future.
- Follow up with each service manager at the various branches to assure Kleemann repairs are moving forward.

- Individual must be proficient in focusing on Customers, making sound decisions, influencing effectively and building relationships.
- Valid Drivers License
- Equipment field set up and customer support willingness.
- Mechanically inclined with basic skills
Technical Skills & Knowledge: Specialized skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Upon equipment delivery some basic tools may be utilized for the set up and/or basic repairs. An Impact wrench, wrenches and other basic tool usage will be expected.
- Knowledge of heavy machinery dealer business practices (has an expert understanding of the principles, can apply the information to complex situations, solve complex problems.
- Willing to travel at least 50% of the time with overnight stays required at times.
Education, Skill, and/or Experience Requirements:
- High school degree and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customers
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to self-manage/self-motivate.
- PC literate, proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook required.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Quick learner with the ability to think out of the box.
- Extensive driving required; overnight travel required
- Bilingual a plus.
