JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for creating and maintaining an electronic health information document imaging system to ensure electronic medical records are readily available for patient care and other requests. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values and ICARE standards while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement/Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED:

• High school education or equivalent

PREFERRED:

• prior experience in HIM or certification

Pay Status: NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
