We are currently looking for a Java & PHP Integration Engineer in India.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust integration solutions that connect internal platforms with third-party applications. You will work closely with customers to gather requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and provide expert guidance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. The position offers exposure to modern API-based architectures (REST and SOAP), database systems, and version control workflows, allowing you to contribute to both development and operational excellence. Operating in a remote-first environment, you will have the opportunity to work independently while driving impactful integrations that enhance system performance and customer satisfaction. • Analyze, maintain, and enhance existing Java and PHP codebases to support integration projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain API-based integrations (REST and SOAP) between internal systems and third-party applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrations meet technical standards and business requirements.
• Gather technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide integration support directly to customers.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation of integration solutions to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Provide post-integration monitoring and support to optimize performance and resolve potential issues.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in integration engineering or application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and PHP with a proven track record in system integration.
• Experience designing, consuming, and maintaining REST and SOAP APIs.
• Customer-facing experience with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and provide guidance.
• Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
