We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Benefits Specialist to support our multi-state employee population and ensure a seamless, accurate, and compliant benefits experience. This role is highly operational and plays a critical role in supporting payroll, benefits, 401(k), and workers’ compensation processes across our dealership network.

Key Responsibilities
Benefits, 401(k) & Vendor Administration
· Process all benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in Paylocity for 16 dealerships; proactively notify eligible employees to enroll or waive coverage.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and enrollment support across TX, AL, GA, and FL.
· Administer COBRA
· Partner with Voya to process 401(k) loans, distributions for terminated employees, employee loan setup, and audit loan activity; update payroll deductions in Paylocity as required.
· Support annual open enrollment, benefits communications, and compliance testing
401(k) & Payroll Reconciliation
· Pull 401(k) payroll reports for all 16 dealerships and post contributions in CDK and Reynolds after every payroll cycle.
· Support the annual 401(k) year-end audit (July–October) and complete all required year-end corrections.
Workers’ Compensation (WC) Administration
· Prepare and reconcile workers’ compensation payroll reports for all dealerships; audit WC class codes monthly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Manage workers’ compensation claims and support carrier audits across all locations.
Compliance, Audits & Systems
· Support internal and external audits related to 401(k), workers’ compensation, HR data integrity, and benefits administration.
· Maintain accurate benefits and payroll data in Paylocity, ensuring proper setup, ongoing reconciliation, and data integrity.
· Support KPA administration and related compliance requirements.

Requirements:
- 2–4+ years of benefits administration experience (automotive or dealership environment strongly preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of payroll laws, deductions, and benefits processes.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paylocity preferred; CDK/Reynolds experience a plus).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage high transaction volume in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
