This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting across US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards. You will oversee key accounting and external reporting processes, including financial close activities, statutory reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and KPI delivery. The position involves close coordination with business operations to ensure accounting outputs align with organizational needs and regulatory requirements. You will also lead initiatives to improve financial systems, reporting tools, and process efficiency within a dynamic, global environment. Acting as a key driver of compliance and control, you will support audit readiness and SOX requirements while contributing to strategic finance transformation efforts. This is a high-impact leadership role combining technical accounting expertise, operational excellence, and continuous improvement mindset.

• Lead and manage end-to-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.
• Oversee statutory reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and KPI preparation, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure full compliance with accounting policies, SOX requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with operational teams to align accounting outputs with business needs and provide clear interpretation of financial data.
• Drive process improvement initiatives across AER systems, including SAP and other financial reporting tools, enhancing efficiency and standardization.
• Lead or support cross-functional finance transformation projects, including implementation of new accounting policies and systems enhancements.
• Contribute to building and developing a high-performing Accounting & External Reporting team, including potential involvement in talent development and recruitment.

• Strong expertise in Accounting & External Reporting, with deep knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or local accounting standards.
• Solid experience in financial close processes, statutory reporting, and financial systems such as SAP or equivalent reporting tools.
• Good understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of taxation fundamentals (direct and indirect taxes) is an advantage.
• Proven leadership experience managing or partnering with cross-functional finance teams in a global environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data beyond core accounting functions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
