Job Description

Business Systems Administrator (NetSuite)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Systems Administrator (NetSuite) in India.

This role is focused on ensuring the stability, accuracy, and effective governance of NetSuite as a core enterprise business system. You will work within a structured Business Applications environment, supporting financial and operational processes through disciplined system administration, configuration management, and controlled change execution. The position emphasizes reliability, compliance, and operational consistency rather than solution ownership, ensuring that platform enhancements align with approved business needs. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to support system updates, resolve issues, and maintain data integrity across the NetSuite ecosystem. The role also involves working within defined release and change management processes to ensure smooth deployments and minimal operational disruption. It is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys structured environments and hands-on system administration in enterprise-scale applications.

Accountabilities:
  • Support day-to-day NetSuite system administration, including configuration, workflows, and platform maintenance within defined governance standards.
  • Assist in managing system updates, releases, and deployment activities, ensuring proper validation and controlled rollout execution.
  • Monitor system performance, storage usage, and data integrity, including support for archiving and cleanup activities.
  • Create and maintain standard reports and support approved ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Perform basic scripting and configuration support under guidance, contributing to incremental system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain test cases for enhancements and fixes, including regression testing and validation for release readiness.
  • Execute deployments following change control processes, ensuring proper documentation, validation, and risk mitigation.
  • Support internal Business Applications teams in understanding requirements and executing approved system changes.
  • Maintain and update system documentation, SOPs, and operational guides using standardized templates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assigned system, access, configuration, and data-related issues through established support channels.
  • Support user access reviews, role validation, and remediation activities in line with governance and audit requirements.
  • Assist with integration awareness and testing support for connected systems within the enterprise application landscape.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of NetSuite administration experience in a business systems or ERP support role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite system configuration, workflows, reporting, and user administration.
  • Understanding of ERP systems and enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with scripting basics (SuiteScript, JavaScript) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to SQL, APIs (REST/SOAP), XML/JSON, or integration concepts is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and system governance practices is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while following structured processes and sprint/release cycles.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira and standard office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, Administrator, ERP Consultant, or similar) are a plus or in progress.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits package.
  • Equity participation for employees.
  • Flexible time off and paid volunteer days.
  • Retirement savings plans with employer matching (RRSP/401k depending on region).
  • Private healthcare coverage including medical, dental, vision, mental health, and disability benefits.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with mental health support services.
  • Fertility support and paid parental leave.
  • Training, certifications, and career development programs.
  • Inclusive and collaborative global work culture with strong focus on learning and growth.
