Job Description

Senior Director, HR Business Partner (AI-Native)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Director, HR Business Partner (AI-Native) in United States.

This is a highly strategic HR leadership role at the center of a major organizational transformation toward an AI-native operating model. The position partners directly with executive leadership to redesign how work is structured, how teams operate, and how talent evolves in a rapidly changing technical environment. It plays a critical role in shaping the people strategy for Engineering, Product, and Design while also leading HRBP functions across the broader organization. The role blends deep organizational design expertise with modern workforce planning and AI-driven transformation. It requires a leader who can operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, influencing C-suite decisions while building scalable people systems. This is a rare opportunity to help define what the future of work looks like inside a fast-scaling, AI-first company.

Accountabilities:
  • Partner with the CTO and Engineering/Product/Design leadership to define and implement an AI-native operating model across technical organizations.
  • Design role frameworks, career architectures, and workforce models aligned with evolving AI-driven ways of working.
  • Lead organizational transformation initiatives, including change management and restructuring tied to AI adoption.
  • Translate pilot program outcomes into scalable organizational playbooks and enterprise-wide workforce strategies.
  • Develop and operationalize frameworks for role transitions, internal mobility, and manager enablement in evolving org structures.
  • Manage and develop a team of HR Business Partners supporting non-technical functions across the company.
  • Ensure consistent application of people strategies across departments as AI-native practices scale.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to define hiring profiles aligned with future skills and AI-integrated roles.
  • Build measurement frameworks to track workforce transformation success, including attrition, productivity, and adoption metrics.
  • Collaborate with People leadership to evolve performance, compensation, and career systems for an AI-driven environment.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5+ years as a strategic HR Business Partner in technical organizations.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale organizational transformation, particularly in technology-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and their impact on workforce design, productivity, and operating models.
  • Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, role architecture, and workforce planning.
  • Experience managing and developing HRBP or HR teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to advise and influence senior executives on high-impact people and organizational decisions.
  • Strong data literacy, including workforce analytics, modeling, and measurement design.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Product, or Design organizations is highly preferred.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building frameworks in environments without established best practices.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at the executive level.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $212,000 to $312,000 depending on experience and location.
  • Equity participation as part of a comprehensive total compensation package.
  • Full health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
  • Flexible remote-first work environment across the United States.
  • Generous PTO policy including company-wide shutdown periods (summer and winter).
  • Paid family leave and mental wellness support programs.
  • Learning and development resources to support continuous growth.
  • Opportunity to shape a next-generation AI-native operating model at enterprise scale.
