Addiction Treatment Charge Counselor at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

Crouse’s Addiction Treatment team provides a comprehensive system of assessment and treatment services for individuals with substance use disorders by integrating physical, mental and spiritual healthcare practices for patients and families.

The Addiction Treatment team is hiring an Addiction Treatment Charge Counselor to work Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-6:30pm, 10 Hour Shifts.

Pay Range: $34.00 - $39.00 / hourly

Addiction Treatment Charge Counselor Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with clinical supervision of staff, fills in for absent staff as needed.
• Assists with report writing and statistical gathering.
• Orients new staff.
• Serves as a clinical and case management resource for staff.
• Assists with compliance review of case records.
• Assumes responsibility for day to day operations in the absence of supervisor.
• Attends meetings and serves on committees as assigned.

Addiction Treatment Charge Counselor Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required, Master's Degree preferred.
• Must be a certified Qualified Health Professional (QHP) in New York State.
• 5-7 years experience in the addiction treatment field.
• Must also have progressive administrative experience.
