This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced claims professional to manage complex liability cases in a fully remote environment. You will oversee auto and general liability claims from intake through resolution, including high-exposure and litigated files. With a strong focus on delivering fair and timely outcomes, you’ll balance client expectations, regulatory requirements, and strategic decision-making. The position requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and confident communication with multiple stakeholders. - Manage end-to-end handling of auto and general liability claims, including bodily injury and property damage cases.
- Review and confirm policy coverage while assessing claim validity and compensability.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and evaluate liability exposure.
- Establish and manage reserves, authorizing payments within delegated authority limits.
- Handle litigated claims, coordinating with legal partners and participating in strategy discussions.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with claimants, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with client guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience handling general liability claims, including high-exposure or litigated files.
- At least 2 years of experience managing auto liability claims.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Active Adjuster’s License in the state of operation; multi-state licensing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, and general technical aptitude.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple claims effectively.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with municipal claims or public sector clients is a plus.
- Competitive compensation ranging from $29.35 to $47.28 per hour, based on experience and location
