About This Position

Description:

Norfolk Kitchen & Bath is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead residential kitchen and bath remodeling projects from contract to completion. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own the full project lifecycle — schedule, budget, quality, and customer experience — while collaborating daily with our in-house design team, showroom staff, and field carpenter crews.

If you take pride in your craft, communicate with confidence, and know how to get the best out of a team in the field, this role was built for you.

What You'll Do

  • Own multiple kitchen and bath remodel projects simultaneously, managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field crews from start to finish
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their project — conducting weekly in-person visits and ensuring zero surprises
  • Partner closely with our design team and showroom staff to ensure the customer's vision is executed with precision in the field
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise carpenter crews — setting the standard for workmanship, safety, and professionalism on every job site
  • Maintain two-week look-ahead schedules for all active projects and manage all trade hand-offs
  • Track and process change orders with accurate pricing and updated scope in a timely manner
  • Manage project documentation, photos, scheduling, and communication history in Buildertrend
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices based on scope accuracy and completed quality checks
  • Conduct final project reviews comparing actual costs to budget and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and participate in ongoing safety audits across all job sites

Why Norfolk Kitchen & Bath

We're a family-owned company with a reputation built on quality craftsmanship and customers who come back. Here's what makes us different:

  • Established reputation — A trusted name in New England remodeling with a loyal customer base, strong repeat business, and projects you'll be proud to put your name on
  • True design-build collaboration — You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with an in-house design team and showroom, not handed off specs from someone you've never met
  • Family-owned culture — Real decisions made by real people. Your contributions are visible, your voice matters, and there's no bureaucracy standing between you and getting things done
  • Quality first, always — We serve customers who care deeply about craftsmanship. You'll never be asked to cut corners
  • A career with staying power — Multiple divisions, a growing team, and leadership that invests in the people who drive results
Requirements:

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in residential remodeling and construction project management
  • Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) — required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active projects, schedules, and subcontractors simultaneously
  • Proven experience supervising and mentoring carpenter crews in the field
  • Ability to read and interpret cabinet layouts, construction drawings, and structural plans
  • Proficiency with Buildertrend or comparable project management software; Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills — in person, by phone, and by email
  • Hands-on carpentry or cabinetry experience strongly preferred
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to drive to job sites daily; lift and carry 40 lbs; walk on uneven surfaces, climb ladders, bend, and reach overhead. Occasional hands-on assistance with jobsite tasks or cabinet installs as needed.

Norfolk Kitchen & Bath is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate the skilled trades and the people who make great work happen.
