The Associate District Sales Representative plays a key role in driving growth for Multiquips Construction Equipment product line by supporting sales execution, customer relationships, and territory development. This role is designed as a developmental pathway into a District Sales Representative position, offering handson experience, mentorship, and progressive responsibility.
Through a customerfirst mindset and Multiquips holistic sales and aftersales support model, this position contributes directly to strengthening customer trust and expanding market presence.
Product FocusConstruction equipment including, but not limited to:
- Concrete and mortar mixers
- Power trowels, screeds, and concrete vibrators
- Soil and asphalt compaction equipment
- Pumps and water trailers
- Generators, light towers, and welders
- Partner with the District Sales Representative (DSR) to learn and support the execution of comprehensive sales strategies aligned with Multiquips holistic sales model, including:
- Unit sales
- Parts and maintenance kit sales
- Service Plus programs
- Ongoing service and customer support
- Assist in achieving territory revenue and growth targets through customer engagement and sales activity.
- Support key established accounts to strengthen customer relationships and grow market share.
- Compile and maintain prospect lists using industry resources such as trade publications, directories, trade shows, and online research.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for customers, supporting salesrelated inquiries and followup.
- Participate in customer training sessions to enhance understanding of product applications and sales opportunities.
- Attend customer open houses and local events; assist with setup, demonstrations, and breakdown of displays.
- Develop a working knowledge of Multiquips construction equipment portfolio, including utilization, functionality, and basic configuration.
- Learn to demonstrate, start, and operate equipment in the field.
- Work alongside the DSR to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and construction activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Build understanding of marketplace positioning, pricing competitiveness, and product opportunities.
- Learn to estimate delivery timelines and communicate updates to customers based on production and delivery schedules.
- Assist with field stock deliveries as needed.
- Support tow and show sales calls, including:
- Hitching trailers and towable equipment
- Driving with loaded trailers
- Document daily calls, meetings, and customer interactions in HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate data, task tracking, and reporting.
- Utilize CRM quoting tools (with guidance) to support quote development, pricing, and coordination with inside sales to convert quotes into orders.
- Gradually take on increased responsibility in customer interactions and territory management.
- Prepare for future transition into the District Sales Representative role through handson experience and mentorship.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Comfortable presenting information and communicating with customers and internal teams.
- Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills
- Customerfocused mindset with interest in sales and territory development
- Willingness to learn technical equipment and sales processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fieldbased environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfort using CRM systems and sales tools (HubSpot experience a plus)
- Up to 50% travel within the assigned territory
- Valid drivers license with a good driving record

- $50,000.00/yr
