Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the full maintenance team across both shifts to ensure smooth, continuous facility operations.
• Provide strong, hands ? on leadership to a small group of maintenance personnel, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain documentation, track maintenance activities, and support reporting needs.
• Implement and uphold cost ? efficient maintenance practices that comply with all quality standards, company policies, and regulatory procedures.
• Plan and schedule shift workload by effectively allocating employees, equipment, and materials to meet production quality goals.
• Assign maintenance tasks and train employees on proper procedures to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
• Oversee plant safety by monitoring working conditions and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
• Ensure all personnel are fully trained and understand the processes, equipment, and procedures relevant to their roles.
• Maintain staff compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP guidelines.
• Promote strong communication within the maintenance team and across other departments to support smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and USDA personnel to maintain regulatory compliance and product integrity.
• Encourage employee participation in continuous improvement efforts and improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and work with a range of maintenance equipment, including electronics, motors, machinery, scales, and freezers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience from poultry processing background to understand machinery used such as (IF Freezer, water pressure machines etc.)
• Minimum 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience
