Location: Clinton, WI

Pay: $90k+ based on experience

Maintenance Electrician job description:

In-house maintenance electrician to assist elevators and other locations with electrical breakdowns, new construction, and preventive maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

• Installation: Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes. This may involve working on new construction projects, or electrical system upgrades including PLCs.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections (PM) and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure they are safe and operational. This includes checking for wear, corrosion, and other potential issues.
• Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical problems, such as faulty wiring, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers. Must be able to troubleshoot and fix issues to prevent electrical hazards.
• Fabricate replacement parts if necessary.
• Vendor management were applicable.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• 3-4 years' journeyman experience in industrial electrical. Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally with management and with fellow employees. Basic PLC diagnostic experience.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

• Previous experience in an agricultural environment
• 2-4 year certificate from college/ technical school preferred or equivalent work experience
• OSHA 10 certification

Other Job information:

• Some traveling with overnight stays will be required, 75% or less of time.
• Working outside in all types of elements.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Tools and a company truck will be provided.
• Responsible for required certifications in the different states that the company has facilities.
• Can involve extended hours during seasonal operation.
• Ability to repeatably lift up to 50 lbs.
• Will be working in confined spaces requiring flexibility of the body to complete tasks.
• Ability to work in heights exceeding 100 feet.
• If required, CEUs will need to be maintained.
