Requirements:
Title: Temp Pigment Department
Location: Rockdale, IL (Apollo Colors)
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm
Pay: $18/hour
Overview: The press operator position performs his functions in a timely fashion to keep production efficient. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure process is as efficient and as safe as possible.
Major Functions and Tasks:
Location: Rockdale, IL (Apollo Colors)
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm
Pay: $18/hour
Overview: The press operator position performs his functions in a timely fashion to keep production efficient. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure process is as efficient and as safe as possible.
Major Functions and Tasks:
- Prepares product packaging to be used in production.
- Operates the filter press's hydraulic ram mechanism.
- Cleans filter plates surfaces and discharge chute.
- Seals up product packaging to prevent contamination.
- Remove and replaces filter cloths.
- Uses a high pressure washer to remove deposits from the filter press.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
