Registered Nurse – NBHC Gulfport, FL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0700–1600 (8.5–9 hour shift, 30–60 min unpaid meal break), excluding federal holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing from an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited program

  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

  • Active, unrestricted RN license

  • Current BLS and ACLS certification

Summary of Duties:
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to patients of all ages within the Medical Home Port (MHP) model. Perform assessments, triage, physical exams, medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and patient education. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with clinical standards, and respond to emergencies.

Support population health initiatives, preventive screenings, and quality improvement efforts. Assist providers with exams, procedures, documentation, and specialty referrals. Supervise and train support staff (HM/LPN/CMA), maintain accurate medical records, track lab/diagnostic results, and promote effective communication among patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Participate in telehealth services, performance improvement activities, and ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.


Monday through Friday, excluding the day of observance of federal holidays, for a 8.5 or 9 hour shift between the hours of 0700 to 1600. Uncompensated 30-minute or 1 hour meal break.
Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
