Position purpose
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Provide daily guidance and direction to team members Ensure all work is distributed effectively and workflows are followed Monitor individual user productivity Perform quality audits and present findings Respond to issues raised, both externally and internally, in a timely and effective manner Actively participate in root cause analysis and coordinate resolution between appropriate parties, escalating when required Serve as first response for employee issues/disputes Approve time off requests, ensuring adequate staffing during peak times Supervise staff, holding employees accountable for assigned responsibilities, individual goals, and performance expectations through annual performance evaluations Lead team huddles in the designated cadence and support employee engagement efforts Support compilation of team performance updates for management; attend management meetings when requested Work in coordination with other members of the Central Billing Office as needed Maintain privacy and confidentiality per policy and HIPAA regulations Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 4-6 years of prior physician RCM billing experience is required. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Performance Requirements:
Be able to read and understand medical benefits Good communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent customer service skills are required Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word and MS Excel Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and decision-making skill Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team-oriented environment Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment Self-motivated with initiative Strong sense of ethics Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues
Equipment Operated: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Work Environment: Leading a remote workforce and may occasionally be requested to come into the office for collaborative team meetings in person
Physical Requirements: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Position may involve standing, sitting, bending, and reaching. May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain. Could cause stress if workload is heavy. May on occasion require light lifting of no greater than 20 pounds and some offsite travel.
