Job Description
Hackbarth Delivery Service is looking for a dedicated Security Systems Coordinator with industry experience. We have 38 locations throughout the southeast United States that needs a person specialized in IT or security systems, maintenance and service of Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm systems (Security Systems) and Fire Protection Systems.
What you will do.
As a full-time Security Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for the low level maintenance, troubleshooting, interacting with vendors and scheduling of repairs for security systems in multiple terminal warehouse locations, in multiple states. In this role we are looking for a highly motivated, responsible, reliable, and teamwork-oriented technician to ensure superior installations on all projects. We require hard work, dedication, and the desire to learn in an ever-changing technical field.
What we look for.
  • Experience or knowledge of the electronic security solutions industry, with an understanding of CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Alarm Systems and Fire Protection Systems.
  • Strong analytical, mechanical and electrical skills are required.
  • Must be able to work on ladders and lifts.
  • Ability to work on a team or on an individual project.
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Ability to maintain an in-depth knowledge of the multiple security systems utilized at all terminal locations.
  • Must possess the ability to oversee security projects, including building relocations and new projects.
  • Create/setup new accounts for managers or administrators for both camera and alarm systems.
  • Train managers or administrators through the setup process of both camera and alarm systems.
  • Train managers and administrators on how to operate the DVR/NVR to review video footage.
  • Update camera and alarm system access when managers or administrators are separated from the company.
  • Must obtain the ability to operate eight (8) different viewing platforms and know how to maneuver through each system.
  • Update and maintain the Vendor spreadsheet. This includes managing 38 terminals camera and alarm vendors, the system access codes for DVRs, stream key access for remote viewing and update passwords for eight (8) different systems as personnel changes.
  • Review the daily Security Report and address any down systems noted in the report.
  • Periodically throughout each day, review the multiple different remote applications to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
  • Possess the technical skills to extrapolate systems data and submit monthly logs for alarms and camera functions.
  • Effectively respond to the daily calls, emails, text messages and support tickets requesting assistance from terminals with their security systems.
  • Assist the Service Center with remote viewing applications and correct any issues.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to new and existing customers.
  • Must be organized, self-driven, and customer service focused.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively in the different camera and alarm systems.
  • Ability to assist and/or lead security related investigations (thefts, robberies, missing totes, missing mail, theft of time, etc.)
  • Conduct security related audits at terminals and assist with implementing corrective actions, including physical security measures.
  • Liaison with security, loss prevention and investigative representatives from clients and customers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients security and compliance audits.
  • Knowledge of the Safety101 application and the ability to upload security incidents, safety incidents and perform related assessments, or the willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge and willingness to learn of OSHA, DOT/FCMSA and drug diversion requirements is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in training others on safety programs, security systems and alarm based applications.
Requirements
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
  • Previous low voltage installation and troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Previous Security Systems Technician or IT Programming/Networking experience is preferred.
  • Must be willing to assist terminals with after hours alarms and pulling video footage from events that may occur.
  • Frequent Travel is required.
  • OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 training is preferred.
  • High school Diploma, with technical school or military training
