Instructor (Part-time/Temporary) at MacDonald Training Center, Inc. – Tampa, Florida

MTC is hiring a temporary part-time Instructor to join our team! The position will be 20 hours per week.

• Teaching individuals with disabilities.
• Provide instruction and classroom support.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including individuals, families, care givers, and support coordinators.
• Treat everyone with civility, kindness, active listening, and professionalism, even in challenging situations.
• Maintains a collaborative work environment and works well with others.
• Other duties as assigned to support the mission of MTC.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in education, social sciences, rehabilitation and/or education fields and three years of experience working in social services, education, rehabilitation or employment services. A minimum of four years of field experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish and/or American Sign Language, a plus. Knowledge in technology strongly preferred. Is culturally sensitive, disability sensitive, and socially perceptive. Must pass a Level II background check/fingerprinting (https://info.flclearinghouse.com), and drug screening.
