We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming community.
Position Summary
The Housekeeping Associate plays a vital role in promoting resident health, dignity, and comfort by ensuring all areas of the community are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained in accordance with community policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
• Clean and maintain floors, carpets, windows, and furnishings
• Follow proper infection control procedures and sanitation guidelines
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with community policies
• Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or supply shortages promptly
• Assist with laundry services as needed
• Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, including those with memory care needs
Qualifications
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents with dementia or memory-related conditions
