We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager – Business Transformation to lead strategic initiatives that modernize systems, improve operational efficiency, and enable scalable growth. This role partners closely with business leaders to drive enterprise-wide transformation through technology and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives including system implementations, process redesign, automation, and digital enablement projects.
  • Partner with executive and business stakeholders to define transformation roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Translate business strategy into structured project plans, measurable milestones, and actionable execution frameworks.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from business case development through implementation and value realization.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending technology-enabled solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Oversee change management strategies to ensure strong stakeholder alignment, user adoption, and sustained results.
  • Establish governance structures, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to track transformation outcomes.
  • Proctively manage risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts across multiple workstreams.
  • Present project updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise project management and transformation methodologies.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of business process transformation, system modernization, and digital strategy execution.
  • Experience leading enterprise software implementations (e.g., policy administration, claims platforms, ERP, CRM, or workflow automation tools).
  • Ability to align technology initiatives with business outcomes and measurable ROI.
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and change management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience mapping current-state vs. future-state processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Executive presence and ability to present complex concepts clearly and confidently.
  • Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence
  • High level of organization, adaptability, and accountability in fast-paced environments.
  • Facilitate trade-off discussions and re-prioritization when necessary
  • 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance with a strong working knowledge of underwriting and claims lifecycle

Additional Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience leading complex IT or business transformation initiatives.
  • PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple business functions and driving enterprise-wide change.
  • Experience on Guidewire PolicyCenter projects is preferred, but not required

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $110,000-130,000, plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and geographic location.
