Licensed Journeyman Plumber – Commercial Service at Beacon Mechanical Services – Canton, Massachusetts

Job Overview:

• Schedule: Full-time with rotating on-call for emergency services.

• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Active Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License and a Valid Driver's License.

The Opportunity: You will drive the technical success of high-priority commercial plumbing projects, ranging from complex build-outs to critical system upgrades across the region. How You Will Make an Impact:

• Execute precision installations of commercial water supply, gas piping, and drainage systems to ensure long-term facility reliability.

• Diagnose complex plumbing system failures and implement effective repair solutions to minimize client downtime.

• Lead commercial renovations and system upgrades by interpreting blueprints and detailed plumbing schematics.

• Maintain strict compliance with the Massachusetts plumbing code to ensure all installations pass inspection.

• Prepare accurate material lists and assist in project planning to optimize job site efficiency and resource management.

• Coordinate with mechanical teams and inspectors to ensure seamless project delivery and professional communication.

• Manage job site safety and organization to uphold the companys high standards for quality and professionalism.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License.

• Minimum of 5 years of field experience in the plumbing trade.

• Proven background in commercial plumbing installations and large-scale service work.

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics.

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Rhode Island Journeyman Plumbing License.

• Specialized experience with commercial mechanical rooms and hydronic heating systems.

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

• Strong background in customer-facing service and professional communication.
