The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for developing models, insights, and solutions that optimize ad auction performance:
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to improve ad auction outcomes, pricing, and targeting.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement predictive models and algorithms in production systems.
- Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and experiments to measure and improve auction performance.
- Use statistical analysis and causal inference techniques to guide strategic decisions and evaluate new initiatives.
- Continuously research and apply new AI/ML methodologies to enhance system efficiency and revenue impact.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable business decisions.
Candidates should bring a strong combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and domain knowledge:
- 3–5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or quantitative analytics, preferably in digital advertising or auctions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with experience in data manipulation and model development.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and predictive modeling.
- Strong understanding of statistics, causal inference, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed computing platforms (e.g., Spark, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Ability to translate complex analytical problems into clear recommendations for cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
