The Director of Paid Media will lead the vision, strategy, and performance of the Paid Media department, owning both revenue outcomes and client satisfaction. This senior leadership role is accountable for growth, retention, and excellence across paid media services while building and mentoring a high-performing team. The Director will partner with executive stakeholders and client leaders, translating business objectives into actionable media strategies. The position requires balancing strategic vision with operational execution, ensuring scalability, quality, and innovation across all campaigns. The role emphasizes P&L ownership, client impact, and continuous development of both team and service offerings. Remote collaboration and global client engagement are core aspects of this position, with opportunities to influence organizational growth and market reputation.
- Own net revenue retention and expansion within the paid media client portfolio, identifying risks and leading corrective actions.
- Define and implement the long-term vision for the Paid Media department, translating it into clear KPIs, quarterly priorities, and execution plans.
- Ensure service design, delivery quality, and outcomes consistently meet high standards while continuously evolving offerings to remain competitive.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior client leaders, including CMOs and VPs of Marketing, providing insights on pipeline, revenue, and business impact.
- Lead, develop, and retain a team of senior paid media professionals, managing performance, coaching talent, and protecting high-value clients through effective resourcing.
- Oversee departmental operations, including P&L forecasting, capacity planning, quality control, and performance standards.
- Use data-driven insights to guide decisions, optimize investments, and balance innovation with operational consistency.
- 7+ years of paid media experience, including 2+ years in B2B SaaS marketing.
- 4+ years leading teams, including senior-level managers or leads.
- Proven experience managing enterprise paid media budgets ($50k+/month) and driving expansion revenue and retention.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, with strong working knowledge of Meta Ads.
- Solid understanding of pipeline management, attribution, and revenue reporting.
- Experience collaborating with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Marketing leadership.
- Comfortable operating in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution, making tough decisions when required.
