This role is a senior leadership position responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic client relationships while leading a team of Account Directors and Account Managers. The Senior Director, Client Services ensures exceptional client satisfaction, retention, and growth, while coordinating the delivery of services across multiple internal capabilities including retail, media, content, consulting, and analytics. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating client objectives into actionable strategies and measurable results. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, oversee operational and financial performance, and mentor your team to deliver excellence across all client touchpoints. The role requires a strategic mindset, operational oversight, and strong people leadership in a fast-paced, global, and client-centric environment.
- Lead and mentor a team of Account Directors and Account Managers responsible for client portfolios
- Oversee revenue performance, client retention, and satisfaction across strategic client accounts
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and drive growth through cross-selling capabilities
- Collaborate with internal teams across retail, media, content, consulting, and analytics to ensure coordinated service delivery
- Maintain executive-level client relationships and serve as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders
- Guide teams in creating client roadmaps, growth strategies, and executive business review materials
- Manage onboarding, reporting, escalation processes, contract renewals, and operational planning for client portfolios
- Continuously improve client services processes and assess client risk across the portfolio
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a marketing agency or client services environment, preferably with digital performance marketing or eCommerce
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing Account Managers or Account Directors
- Strong experience managing large client portfolios and coordinating delivery across multiple marketing capabilities
- Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Marketplace experience, including Amazon, Walmart, or Target, preferred
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and ability to identify cross-sell opportunities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience with CPG, beauty, apparel, electronics, or similar brands is a plus
- Certifications in Amazon Advertising or other retail media networks are desirable
