Job Title: Crisis Therapist I

SIGN ON BONUS

Shift: 6:30PM to 7AM; Thursday Friday Saturday & Every other Wednesday to include $2/hr. NOC Shift differential

The National Health Service Core (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed by accredited sites.

Salary: Therapist I annual salary is $60-$70K depending on experience. Therapist II-IV salaries are at higher pay grades, and are obtained with more than three years of experience.

Crisis Therapist Education and/or Experience: Must meet requirements to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). QMHPs shall meet the following minimum qualifications and shall hold one of the following educational degrees:

Graduate degree in a behavioral science field; Psychology, Social Work, Etc.1 year of experience of de-escalation in a crisis setting preferred.

Masters in a Behavioral Health discipline (social work, counseling, psychology, etc.)Demonstrated ability to assess and diagnose mental health conditions.Computer skillsWriting skillsAt least one year of experience working as a therapist or similar position.Case management skillsManaging crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, and working independently.The ability to work with various community partners including law enforcement, hospital staff, and family members, while maintaining your focus on the client's needs is key.
