You will serve as the primary technical expert responsible for the structural and mechanical integrity of a 100-year-old asphalt manufacturing facility. This role offers the stability of year-round work while empowering you to maintain critical machinery for a premier, family-owned industry leader.

• Execute precision welding and fabrication tasks to repair or reinforce heavy industrial asphalt plant components.

• Perform complex mechanical overhauls on conveyors, mixers, and high-capacity production machinery to minimize operational downtime.

• Conduct routine inspections of structural assets to identify and resolve potential safety or performance issues.

• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to ensure continuous production of high-quality asphalt materials.

• Collaborate with the plant management team to design and implement custom equipment modifications for improved efficiency.

• Maintain a clean and organized mobile or shop work environment to uphold the highest safety and quality standards.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics and industrial-grade welding.

• Proven proficiency in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, or Stick, on heavy-gauge steel.

• Strong technical background in diagnosing and repairing heavy industrial machinery or manufacturing systems.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and overtime to meet critical production deadlines.

• Advanced certifications in structural welding or specialized mechanical trade disciplines.

• Experience working with high-heat manufacturing equipment or asphalt plant components.

• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics for fabrication projects.
