Company: G&F Precision Molding Inc.
Department: Supply Chain
Reports to: Director of Supply Chain
Location: Onsite – Fiskdale, MA (5 days/week)
Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

About Us

We are agile, innovative, customer-centric, and our goal is to provide specialized, creative solutions and a commitment to ongoing service and quality. G&F Precision is unique; our core business is life science, including medical devices and pharmaceuticals. We provide custom solutions to universal manufacturing needs and have the experience, ability, and drive to tackle challenging projects from concept to execution.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Master Planner to serve as the heartbeat of our production operations. This role is central to balancing customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and labor resources, ensuring executable schedules that drive on‑time delivery, throughput, and operational stability. You’ll serve as the single source of truth for the production schedule and a key link between planning and shop‑floor execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Production Schedule: Build, maintain, and optimize the master production schedule, including finite scheduling, sequencing, and capacity balancing to meet customer delivery commitments.
  • Short‑ & Long‑Range Scheduling: Translate demand forecasts into daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with material, labor, and equipment constraints.
  • ERP / MRP Scheduling Execution: Use ERP/MRP systems to manage schedules, reschedule work orders, maintain schedule adherence, and improve planning accuracy.
  • Constraint & Bottleneck Management: Identify capacity constraints, material shortages, and schedule conflicts; proactively adjust schedules to minimize downtime and missed shipments.
  • Cross‑Functional Schedule Alignment: Partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales to align schedules with demand changes, material flow, and shop‑floor realities.
  • Schedule Performance & Metrics: Track and improve key scheduling KPIs such as schedule attainment, on‑time delivery, lead time, WIP levels, and capacity utilization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive scheduling standardization, planning discipline, and process improvements that enhance throughput, predictability, and scalability.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all scheduling and execution activities comply with ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 requirements and internal safety standards.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Required: 3–5 years of experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Savvy: 2–5 years of hands-on experience with ERP/purchasing systems and proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must).
  • Language: Required proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate complex data into actionable production plans.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive rewards package to support your health, wealth, and professional growth:

  • Financial Security: 401(k) with company matching, LTD and Voluntary Life Insurance.
  • Health & Wellness: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance; Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and Dependent Care Account.
  • Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Parental Leave.
  • Time Off: 3 weeks Vacation, 40 hours Sick Time and 8 hours Civic Day per year; and 9 Paid Holidays.
  • Growth: Tuition Reimbursement and Professional Development Assistance.

Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Physical: Must be able to wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in a cleanroom environment, lift up to 15 pounds, and work at a desk for prolonged periods.
  • Travel: Periodic, consistent travel to our other location is required.
  • Visa Status: G&F Precision Molding will not offer or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.
  • Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available.
