Oil Modeling Analyst | Austria at Kpler – Austria

• Use your experience to build and expand our supply and demand models through the enhancement of existing tools

• Assist in pre-sales efforts by conveying Kpler’s view through our S&D and other internal datasets

• Identify and report on key developments in the oil and refined products space as part of Kpler’s Insights offering

• Contribute to the production of company webinars and external presentations

• Collaborate with the product and technical teams to further develop our portfolio of client offerings

Essential:

• 2+ years of prior experience in crude or refined product markets

• 2+ years running an S&D balance for crude or refined products or experience with data management

• Experience in producing independent market analysis and insights

• Skilled at conducting complex analyses across multiple datasets using advancing data analytics tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient experience with Excel, SQL, Python, R, or other data science tools

Desirable:

• Previous experience using Kpler data or other cargo tracking tools

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Statistical modelling & forecasting

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R

• Ability to leverage AI/ML capabilities

• Experience using common data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.)

Behavioural Competencies:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Comfortable with establishing new processes and workflows

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Excel in collaborative team environments while taking full ownership of deliverables
