DeCamp Construction is looking for a skilled carpenter with expertise in deck building to join our growing team. Youll play a key role in building and repairing decks, working on framing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, concrete, and more. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build and repair decks using various materials such as wood and composite decking

• Perform rough and finish carpentry, framing, concrete, roofing, and siding/dry-rot repair work as needed

• Read and interpret blueprints and plans to ensure the highest quality craftsmanship

• Maintain job site cleanliness and safety protocols

• Collaborate effectively with the project team and ensure timely completion of projects

• Operate power tools, saws, and other carpentry equipment with safety and precision

• Load and unload materials and tools, ensuring proper site preparation

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in carpentry, deck building, and related construction work

• Must own bags, saws, impact tools, and necessary hand tools

• Reliable transportation is required; a truck with a rack and the ability to drive a trailer is a plus

• Composite decking experience is highly valued

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Physical fitness to lift, bend, work on ladders, lift 60+ lbs, and operate in various weather conditions
