As an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll help our borrowers take their steps toward homeownership, expertly guiding them through the loan application process and and walk them through the loan process—keeping everything simple, accurate, and on track. You'll play a pivotal role in originating long-term mortgage loans, including lot, construction, and home equity loans. Join our credit union professional team as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer!
Compensation and Position Classification for Senior Mortgage Loan Officer:
Pay Rate: Base pay $23.50/Hour, Non-Exempt, paid biweekly plus uncapped monthly incentives! Monthly incentives on funded loans based on production and varies.

What We're Looking for in a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer
- Good understanding of the foundation of determining credit worthiness
- Understanding of real estate law, regulations, and the secondary market
- Familiarity with title reports, insurance, and appraisals
- Able to motivate and align with members, partners, and teammates toward shared goals
- Focused on smooth, responsible closings
- Prefer action and measurable progress over endless planning
- Motivated by clear outcomes like portfolio growth, funded loans, and fee income
- Prioritizes long-term relationships over one-time transactions
- A trusted advisor to our members and others can rely on
- Plus if applicant has written and verbal proficiency and fluent in Spanish and English
Required Experience: Five or more years in mortgage lending experience or similar banking or credit union lending.
Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Senior Mortgage Loan Officer Location & Hours 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday - Friday, occasional before and/or after-hours events, frequent travel within local county area, and weekends when required.
