About This Position

Work Setup: Onsite at The Sanctum, Quezon City

Contract Type: Full Time

Schedule: 9-6pm EST (subject to change) | Mon - Fri

Start Date: ASAP

What does a day in the life of a Customer Service Representative look like?

  • Patient triage & communication
  • Handle inbound phone calls via Quo
  • Monitor and respond to tickets in Pylon
  • Triage and resolve patient-related inquiries (pricing, balances, claims)
  • Return missed calls by end of day
  • Respond to email/form tickets same-day (EOD SLA)
  • Pricing & Billing Support
  • Address pricing disputes and outstanding balance questions
  • Adjust pricing to patient-expected amounts when appropriate (system reconciles later)
  • Sense-check deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays for accuracy
  • Escalate complex billing discrepancies when needed
  • Use Steady (pricing tool) as required
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
  • Provide accurate information about products and services to customers
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Follow up with customers to ensure that their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction
  • Properly and accurately document customer interactions in the organization’s CRM
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Meet or exceed performance targets for related KPIs
  • Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications of a Customer Service Representative?

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare industry or equivalent
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in using computers and various software applications
  • Knowledge and experience with a CRM preferred
  • Basic understanding of healthcare terminology, such as deductibles, co-insurance, and co-pays, to sense-check pricing information and identify errors, although expertise in specific plans is not required
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems (EHRs) for checking appointment dates and historical claims to verify pricing
