THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a temporary, seasonal position scheduled to work 35 hours per week beginning approximately mid May and ending mid August.
The Coordinator, Summer Programs assists in the support services for Summer Camps, programs, and conferences, including but not limited assisting with daily camp operations such as drop-off and pick-up procedures, daily camp activities, and safety of all campers on campus; providing customer service to individual customers to resolve any camp situations and problems; assisting with the onboarding of overnight programs and execution of key distribution; and coordinating specific projects and processes as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Works with the Associate Athletics Director and the Coordinator, Business Development on day-to-day activities and overall assistance with the management of external programming.
Assists with the daily operations of camps, programs, and conferences across Babson campus (i.e., assistance when campers go to Dining Hall for lunch).
Responsible for execution of key distribution for overnight programs.
Maintain effective working relationships with the campus community to support programs especially Residential Life, Facilities, Chartwells and Public Safety (e.g., camp scheduling and situational changes during the camp season).
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Associate’s Degree in related field.
At least 6 months to a year of relevant experience.
Hepatitis B vaccination and training in compliance with OSHA regulations; must maintain both throughout time in the position.
Experience with registration systems necessary.
Thorough editing and proofreading skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Ability to work with culturally ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, faculty, and other constituencies.
Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Must be able to work under all weather conditions.
May be required to work some evenings and weekends.
Must have had a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver’s License for one year, and maintain throughout employment an insurable (as determined by the College’s insurer’s criteria) or a satisfactory driving record; must successfully complete and pass the College’s vehicle training program within the first 60 days of employment; annual or more frequent review of employee’s driving record based on the College insurer’s criteria; and safety training as required by management.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
This is a non-exempt position with the following pay range: $27.56-$30.62 depending on the candidate's experience. This position includes paid sick leave where required by law. Eligibility, accrual, and usage will follow applicable state and local regulations.
