This role is a leadership position within a fast-growing Mid-Market Sales organization, responsible for guiding a team of Account Executives to consistently close high-value deals. You will coach, develop, and inspire your team to identify strategic opportunities, navigate complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and increase revenue across accounts of 1002,500 employees. Success requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on sales expertise, and a talent for mentoring and elevating team performance. You will partner closely with go-to-market leadership, drive the adoption of structured sales methodologies, and cultivate a high-performing culture focused on larger, value-led deals. This role blends leadership, sales strategy, and operational excellence, offering the chance to shape team dynamics and impact company growth. Accountabilities:- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mid-Market Account Executives to consistently close high-value deals.
- Drive deal strategy and execution across complex sales cycles, from discovery to close, ensuring rigorous pipeline and forecast reviews.
- Elevate adoption of sales methodologies (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC), ensuring clear qualification, next steps, and measurable wins.
- Build a culture of strategic selling focused on multi-threaded, value-led engagements.
- Orchestrate relationships with multiple stakeholders, including economic buyers, champions, and technical evaluators, to remove roadblocks and accelerate deals.
- Segment and prioritize territories, uncovering expansion and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Conduct high-quality deal reviews and quarterly business reviews to improve win rates and average deal size.
- Hire, scale, and organize the team into high-performing units, establishing operating rhythms and growth-focused structures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, RevOps, and Product teams to refine sales strategies and messaging.
Requirements:
- Proven track record as a 6-figure closer with 5+ years of sales management experience leading teams to close complex deals.
- Deep expertise in MEDDIC/MEDDPICC sales methodology and experience coaching teams in its adoption.
- Strong strategic deal management skills, including qualification, mutual action plans, champion building, and executive alignment.
- Executive presence with the ability to motivate, inspire, and set high standards.
- Experience in coaching and talent development through structured feedback and field observation.
- Skilled at navigating multi-stakeholder deals, aligning technical and economic buyers, and de-escalating conflicts.
- Growth mindset and change leadership capabilities, with a focus on shifting teams from smaller deals to strategic, value-led engagements.
- Strong ability to manage up and across, presenting data-driven insights and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience in Mid-Market or Enterprise SaaS sales in the US is highly desirable.
- Technical sales fluency and familiarity with selling to technical teams (e.g., DevOps, IT Ops) are a plus.
