Potential Earning Based on Experience 60K-65K

Eastern Diversified Properties, Inc. (“EDP”), a subsidiary of the DARCARS Automotive Group, is looking for a Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our facilities team in the northeast, operating in multiple locations. This person will be an integral part in supporting the Facilities Team’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of employees and customers in the DARCARS Automotive Group’s automotive dealership facilities. **A company car will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment (i.e. HVAC System and Air Compressor Filters).

• Scheduled checks on all mechanical devices for trouble free, efficient operation.

• Can manage basic equipment repairs as needed.

• Can perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs.

• Can perform basic electrical repairs.

• Facilitates the upkeep of equipment and supplies at dealership facilities. 

• Is involved with, and documents regular facilities inspections. 

• Recommends maintenance initiatives to supervisors. 

• Communicates workplace safety requirements to employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 2-3 years’ experience with building maintenance or Handyman experience

• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and on-going assignments.

• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.

• Flexible with schedules and weekend hours

• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record with the ability to operate a truck safely and efficiently.
