About This Position

We’re looking for an experienced MFM Sonographer ready to stretch into the next step in their career and float to clinics in our largest region - Central Texas. As an MFM Sonographer (Floater), you will work independently in various clinical settings (OB and high-risk) and fill in shifts throughout the region, consistently flexing your clinical skill set. No nights or weekends! WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)
  • Cover a variety of clinical settings; including low-risk and MFM sites, outreach clinics, which will involve extended commute times.
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
  • Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
  • Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
  • Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
  • Other duties assigned by managers
