POSITION SUMMARY

Efficiently, accurately, and safely builds orders from the Voice Pick system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Hand build orders for bulk and/or small format delivery routes with strict attention to accuracy using the Voice Pick system and ride-on pallet jack.
  • Wrap pallet in shrink wrap to ensure stability and attach all necessary paperwork.
  • Load and unload products from trucks, ensuring that product is handled with care to avoid damage.
  • Restock returned products in their designated locations in the picking area.
  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that the warehouse is free from hazards and clutter.
  • Perform all check-in/check-out duties assigned and maintain proper records (pick tickets) for each individual task according to the warehouse standard operating
  • procedures.
  • Perform all required safety and pre-trip checks.
  • Operate a ride-on pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Work well with others in a team-orientated atmosphere.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate a ride-on pallet jack.
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Must possess thorough understanding of warehouse process and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of materials management.
ABILITIES
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Review and adhere to all Pepsi of Greenville policies, including safety.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic technology skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
  • Vision requirements to do this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms in handling, positioning, moving, and stacking materials.
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling various products.
  • Must be able to climb onto and off of pallet jack throughout the shift (8-10 hours per day).
  • Walking, standing, bending, stooping and lifting are constant during the work shift.
