ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you energized by bringing strategy to life and turning ideas into action? As our Business Development Coordinator, youll be at the center of a fast-paced, collaborative marketing teamdriving initiatives that elevate our brand and win new business. In this dynamic role, youll transform insights into compelling pitches and presentations, keep our Salesforce data sharp and actionable, and power the execution of targeted campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives. From crafting standout RFP responses to supporting high-impact marketing programs, youll ensure every detail is polished, every deadline is met, and every opportunity is maximizedall while delivering an exceptional client experience and building strong internal partnerships.
Partner with business development managers and marketing colleagues to execute strategic business development plans, taking ownership of assignments and recommending process improvements.
Contributes to the maintenance of Salesforce and related databases, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities, pursuits, cross-selling initiatives, and engagement data.
Oversee practice group experience tracking systems, including new matter intake, experience databases, and compendiums, conducting periodic audits for accuracy.
Coordinate the production and distribution of newsletters, client alerts, blog posts, and other thought leadership content.
Edit, update, and draft marketing collateral, including practice descriptions, attorney biographies, website content, and customized pitch materials.
Support pitches and RFPs through research, content coordination, and material assembly; track outcomes and prepare reports with actionable recommendations.
Plan and execute marketing events, seminars, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities, managing logistics, budgets, invoices, and post-event analysis.
Collaborate across the Marketing team and offices to uphold brand standards, complete directory submissions, enhance internal communication, and drive continuous improvement.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelors degree required, preferably in marketing or a related field.
Two to three years of marketing experience in a professional services environment; law firm experience preferred. Experience supporting intellectual property or litigation practices is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, with the ability to create polished, high-impact presentations.
Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
Highly motivated and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and responsiveness.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to develop clear, focused, and tailored content.
Meticulous attention to detail across writing, research, data management, and copy editing.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver client-focused results under deadline.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
Palo Alto salary range: $63k to $88k
Washington, D.C. salary range: $60k to $84k
