About This Position
Position Overview: The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all student records, regulatory processes, and operational documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant with aviation authorities and internal standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining regulatory integrity across training programs, student onboarding, and administrative operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple compliance workflows simultaneously in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Process and manage IACRA applications for type rating applicants
- Prepare FAA Form 8710
- Oversee TSA clearance processes for applicable students
- Maintain and organize Part 142 student records and folders
- Manage TCE and TCI training files in compliance with regulatory standards
- Validate international documentation, including DGCA (India) records and pilot logbooks
- Upload and manage required documents in internal systems (Google Drive, FSP)
Student Systems & Training Support
- Create and manage CPAT profiles, monitor student activity, and verify course completion
- Provide access to training platforms (e.g., Hotmart) and distribute course materials such as quiz PDFs
Auditing & Quality Control
- Audit instructor timesheets for accuracy and compliance
- Review and audit invoices from TCI's and TCE's
- Ensure all documentation and records meet internal and regulatory requirements
Operations & Administrative Support
- Coordinate hotel bookings for students and staff as needed
- Manage procurement and inventory of training materials (e.g., Jetpub kits), including tracking and distribution
Qualifications Required
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Experience working with documentation, compliance, or regulatory processes
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets) or similar systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred
- Experience in aviation, flight training, or FAA-regulated environments
- Familiarity with IACRA, TSA clearance processes, or FAA documentation
- Experience working with international students or regulatory bodies (e.g., DGCA)
- Background in compliance, operations, or training administration
