About This Position

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in the United States.

This is a rare executive opportunity to shape and scale a fast-growing leadership community built on trust, presence, and meaningful relationships. As the inaugural CMO, you will define the marketing vision for a national and global expansion effort spanning hundreds of chapters and tens of thousands of senior leaders. You will operate at the intersection of brand strategy, community building, and performance growth, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects the integrity and depth of the organization. This role requires a leader who can balance bold, data-driven acquisition strategies with deeply authentic brand storytelling. You will influence executive decision-making, build scalable marketing infrastructure from the ground up, and help transform a proven concept into a globally recognized leadership platform.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and lead the overall marketing strategy, shaping brand positioning, narrative, and identity across all channels and markets.
  • Build and scale full-funnel member acquisition strategies across digital, organic, referral, partnership, and experiential channels.
  • Oversee brand consistency across a rapidly expanding network of chapters while enabling localized expression within a unified framework.
  • Design and optimize the end-to-end member journey, from first engagement through onboarding, retention, and long-term renewal.
  • Lead experiential and community marketing initiatives, including events, leadership gatherings, and national conferences.
  • Develop strategic partnerships, thought leadership initiatives, and influencer ecosystems to expand reach and authority.
  • Own the digital marketing ecosystem, including website, CRM, SEO/SEM, paid media, content strategy, and analytics.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing organization across brand, growth, content, and community functions.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 5 years in senior or executive leadership roles. You have a proven track record of scaling brands in high-growth, community-driven, membership-based, or experiential environments such as executive communities, premium lifestyle brands, media, hospitality, or similar sectors. You combine strong strategic vision with hands-on execution capability, and you are fluent across modern marketing disciplines including brand strategy, performance marketing, content, CRM, and analytics. You are an exceptional communicator with strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. A builder mindset is essential—you thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, and create scalable systems from the ground up. Experience in experiential marketing, community building, and revenue-driven growth is highly valued, along with a deep belief in relationships as a core driver of business success.

Benefits:
  • Executive-level compensation package aligned with experience and impact
  • Fully remote work environment with national scope and flexibility
  • Opportunity to shape and scale a category-defining leadership brand from its earliest stage
  • Direct collaboration with executive leadership and influence over company-wide strategy
  • Access to high-level leadership networks, national events, and curated executive communities
  • High autonomy and ownership over global marketing strategy and execution
  • Opportunity to build and lead a full marketing organization from the ground up
  • Long-term growth potential within an expanding multi-brand leadership ecosystem
